Market Details

Market Dates: Saturday 5th July & Saturday 5th November

Event Time: Setup from 9:30 am Open to the Public from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

 

In A Space is delighted to invite local artists and makers to participate in our Summer and Winter 2025 Arts and Craft Markets at our Creative Hub on Middle Wall, close to the shops and seafront of the popular town Whitstable, Kent, UK.

We welcome artists and makers of any medium who are based anywhere to apply

​

Pitch Details:

​

  • Table pitch: £25 per day. You will be allocated an approximate 180cm X 80cm pitch.

​

  • There is a limited number of electric sockets available for an additional £5 for the weekend if required.

​

  • If you require additional display space eg: a rail, please give details when asked below.

​

  • There is a limited number of tables available for use. So, as they are first come, first serve you will be asked about tables later in your application.

​

  • Tablecloths will NOT be provided, so it is advised that all stallholders bring their own. 

​

  • Two chairs per table will be provided; stallholders are welcome to bring one more.

​

  • We ask that you do not start taking down your pitch until after 4:00 p.m. - once the market is closed to the general public.

Venue Details

  • Access to the building is via a cobbled, sloped forecourt and is possibly not suitable for people with mobility issues.

​

  • There is no parking available, however, there is space to drop off your market supplies. The Middle Wall, Gladstone Road and Keam's Yard Car Parks are less than a 5-minute walk away.

​

  • All stallholders are responsible for their own Public liability insurance and are NOT covered by our policy.

​

  • All stallholders are responsible for their own contents insurance. The space will be securely locked overnight, and there is a CCTV camera and security alarm on the premises. Therefore, stalls can be left overnight at your own risk.

​

  • Wi-Fi is available; details will be available on the day.

​

  • In order to make the event more accessible and eye-catching, the doors will be open so the space can be cold. It is recommended to wrap up warm if so.

What Happens Now:

Once you need to submit this application 

​

You will be emailed shortly after your application to let you know we have received your application and whether or not you have been accepted.

​

If you are accepted, you will be asked to pay the stall fee within 2 weeks to confirm your pitch.

Please keep an eye on your Spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there by mistake.
